Hi all, hope you had a great holiday season! Attached is a picture taken over Christmas 2008.

"Here is a picture of a few '81 VM grads that got together for lunch on December 29th at Gullivers in Brandon. Around the table...from the right...Debbie McLeod (Brownridge); Dean McKellar; Tannis MacDonald; Brian Atkinson; Wendy Wolfe; Judi Thiessen. Spent a couple of hours catching up on our lives as well as others we might have thought of at the time. We seem to do this when we can (Christmas and perhaps in the summer with whomever is around...OTHERS ARE VERY WELCOME TO JOIN US! Simply contact any of the current group and we'll link you in! Wishing all a very Happy New Year!"

Michael Lau finally said hi, he is now residing in Ottawa!

Dec 23, 2007 - Brian Atkinson. Met up with (Left to right) Judi Thiessen, Michelle Hercun, Earla and Dean McKellar, (Sitting) Wendy Wolfe, Debbie McLeod (Brownridge) for lunch at the Royal Oak today. We spent about 2 hours there - just like old times - service was poor. We had a few laughs and talked about what Brandon classmates. Judy and Michelle brought their camera's so we had a picture. All at the table agreed we need to have another reunion and try to find the ones we didn't find for last reunion. Hopefully the word got out that the ones that didn't come missed a good time. November 2007. (See fotos below) Michelle Hurcun (Moffatt) sent a few photos of her trip to Ontario Remembrance Day long weekend 2007. Cheryl Van Der Kroon (Knight) planned a mini reunion with a few friends from Linden Lane days. There the group of Michelle, Cheryl, Ann Philpott (Farrer), David (Hamish) Chaudhari, and Bill Stanzeleit met at Cheryl’s home in Oakville. They had a great time and submited these photos. August 2007. Michelle got together with Kirsten Georgison, Ann Philpott (Farrer) and Karen Skinner this summer in Brandon!

Michelle Hercun (June 2007). Well -- as Kevin said it has been almost one year!! I feel very fortunate to have been able to re-connect with my high school buds such as Cheryl, Ann, Kathy, Wendy and Karen. We are planning to get together again and think we thought Toronto would be fun!! Cheryl is ready for us??! I also had an opportunity to see Lorinda Carbonara ( Hayes) at Christmas time and am attaching a photo of us!!

Life has been busy-- took a few trips this year: one down to Florida and on a mini cruise and the other to Texas to golf-- both were fun and away from the Manitoba winters all the same!! I continue to scrapbook -- although I am only on 2003 trips!! maybe we should either stop taking trips or I need to devote more time to scrapbooking!! I also love Genealogy and have managed to find relatives in Poland and in the States!! Next trip I think will be to Poland to see where the Hercun ancestors came from. Keep in touch--- drop me a line or a phone call if you are ever out this way!!

Kevin Hilgers. (June 2007) Looking back in at the reunion a year ago now - damn that was fun. Since then we had a nice time in Edmonton with Joanne Scott, Dean and Earla, and Patty Pearson and a few spouses - in St. Albert. It was a nice afternoon party at Joanne's. Thanks Joanne! I have kept in touch a bit with Tom Korski, and hope to see Bill Stanzeleit this fall in Ontario. (Yehah Bill!) I will be there the 3rd week of September. On the right is a family photo. We will be in Regina in July this summer. My eldest is in grade 12 this fall - so not many family vacations remain. Love keeping in touch - my email is wave@telus.net
